“El Messajero” was published in Los Angeles only during the 1930s. “El Messajero” was named after an Italian publication printed in Rhodes. There are two newspaper articles of “Il Messaggero di Rodi” from July 16, 1944 and July 23, 1944 (the week of the deportation) relating to the Jewish community. They are located in the “Holocaust” section located at: https://www.rhodesjewishmuseum.org/history/holocaust

I am a Professor at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut and working on a project on the Jews of Rhodes and would like to know if I can look at El Messajero, cover stories from 1945. Are they on line like this to look at another site?
