Support for Preserving the Jewish History of Rhodes
The Museum being set up at the Kahal Shalom synagogue is an important first step of more expansive efforts in preserving the unique history of the Jews of Rhodes. The Rhodes Jewish Historical Foundarion, is a non-profit organization established as a vehicle to support future programs.

Recently, the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Community of Rhodes has entrusted the Foundation "with the task of further gathering of documents among the Jews of Rhodes in the Diaspora and to act on their behalf to promote these projects among our brothers in the Diaspora so that funds can be raised either from individuals or from institutions." Therefore, the following contributions are appreciated:

1) Photos, personal documents, ketubbahs, embroideries or other artifacts relating to Rhodes.

2) Financial contributions needed to be utilized for the following programs: expansion and improvement of the Museum, renovation of the Kahal Shalom synagogue, publications, preservation of the Jewish cemetery and other monuments of "La Juderia."
