Jack I. Barokas was buried at the Seattle Sephardic Brotherhood on April 27, 2026.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Sue. He is also survived by his son Leonard (Marjie). He is also survived by his brother Jerry. Jack was preceded in death by his brother Morgan and his son Robert. Mr. Barokas also is survived by his grandchildren Jackson (Natalie) and Callie.

Jack and I once buried someone by ourselves. Too much snow, so no one could make it out. We hauled the casked out to the plot like this, leapfrogging on to the next board and had a heck of a time lowering him. We were exhausted.
