Eleanor A. HALFON April 20,1925 ~January 25,2011 Our beloved Eleanor died peacefully at home of natural causes early January 25th. After graduating from Garfield High School, class of '44, Eleanor worked for many years at various Seattle department stores. She met her future husband Solomon (Sol) at the Yesler Public Library when she was just 15. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Eleanor is survived by her husband Sol, son Alan and daughter in law Debra and grandchildren Ryan and Kelly (Tyler), all of Southern California. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 27th at 2 pm at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave., Seattle.
