1909 photo of the Chief Rabbi of Rhodes, Mosheh Franco, sitting with his wife Pearl Mizrahi. He served the Jewish community of Milas, until his appointment to Rhodes in 1896. In 1909 he departed Rhodes and became the Grand Rabbi in Jerusalem. (Person in the center is a Turkish manservant.)
