Bureka meat filling

2 lge onions, chopped
3 t oil
2 lbs ground meat 16 oz
1/2 C tomato sauce
1 T salt
1 t pepper
1/2 C water 4 oz
1/2 C rice
4 t chopped parsley

Glaze onions in oil. Add meat and brown. Add tomatoes, salt,
pepper and cook for 10 minutes. Add rice and water and let
simmer until tender. Remove from heat and let cool. Drain
excess oils (paper towels). Can be made in advance and refrigerate
or frozen.
